Few days have passes since the closing of our 2nd Annual Art Show celebrating Jerusalem Day, and its time to share some of the wonderful time we had.

The show was a huge success, due to many efforts taken by the entire team of artists who presented at the show. Our show leader and coordinator ShaKed who was instrumental for pushing us all to do our best, the hanging team who did a wonderful job collecting and arranging and hanging all the art, and everyone else who published, spread the word, maned the show throughout its four days, set up the food and decorations, cleaned up at the end of the show, and many other duties we had!

The opening night was packed. Even with the strong winds and heavy rain, our friends and family still found the time to come and celebrate with us. Few paintings, jewelry and pottery items were sold on opening night, giving the artists and the entire group the special boost, making the evening even more special.

The following days were very busy, with many visitors coming in an out, some coming two and three times, bringing their friends with them. We enjoyed welcoming everyone, giving “private tours” of the show, introducing people to the artists who talked about their art, sharing their passion with the community. We felt the warmth of the community and how this event contribute to everyone.

On Sunday, at the end of the show, each artist who donated a piece to the door prizes, drew a ballot and the winners announced (soon to be added here and to our site).
